To celebrate our partnership with Marin Advocates for Children, the Downtown San Anselmo Merchants Association has invited friends and supporters to “Fall into the Holidays” with an intimate cocktail party designed to set the tone for a fabulous and prosperous holiday season in San Anselmo. This event featuring fine wine, gourmet appetizers prepared by various local restaurateurs, and live music, will be held at a private home in Ross on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 6 PM. The Downtown San Anselmo Merchants Association is thrilled to partner with Marin Advocates for Children this holiday season. Having received so much support and good will from the community over the past year, we feel great about supporting an organization as important and proactive as Marin Advocates for Children (www.marinadvocates.org). Every Thursday evening between Thanksgiving and Christmas, participating businesses in San Anselmo will donate 10% of their sales to MAC. Before the 2006 holiday season is over, we will raise $10,000 for this great organization. The Downtown San Anselmo Merchants Association invites everyone to enjoy the small town charm of San Anselmo. Beginning November 22nd, local businesses will stay open until 8:00 PM every Thursday until Christmas. On these evenings and on Saturdays for the months of November and December, patrons can enjoy bright lights, festive decorations, carolers, activities, and regular visits from Santa. Local patrons should feel no buyer’s remorse in downtown San Anselmo this holiday season. By shopping and dining locally, customers can simultaneously support local business and also raise awareness of child abuse in Marin County. Together, DSAMA and MAC plan to make this holiday season the best and brightest San Anselmo has ever seen.
